The NorthEast Comic Con and Collectibles Extravaganza is the event you shouldn’t miss if you are interested in all collectibles, like toys, movies or video games, as well as cosplay, especially if you’re a fandom or pop culture fanatic. And this summer, on top of having all of the industry’s best present in one place, some super rad guests will be attending, one of them is Micky Dolenz. He will be appearing at a 50th Anniversary Screening of The Monkees’ film “HEAD”. Micky will be signing autographs, doing photo ops, having a Q&A and karaoke sessions with a special few. Another great star coming to the NorthEast Comic Con is the well-known Greg Brady from “The Brady Bunch” who is rumored to do a little bit shimmying, shaking and singing for the crowds.

Other additions to the star-studded list are Kadrolsha Ona,Queen of The Paranormal, Bill Diamond, Will Murray and Gary Sohmers. The NECC is a unique New England event that is undoubtably growing in popularity every year. At the heart of this family centered event are the attendees who are young at heart. In order to fulfil the desires of those who attend the prestigious event, the NECC always aims to maintain a secure and safe environment. Such events can easily attract unnecessary scuffles which, in turn, place high expectations of many of the ticket paying attendees. The NECC is unparalleled within New England because of their affordable ticket prices, which further attracts those who love all that a comic con embodies but cannot fork out an arm and leg. Celebrities will not be charging extortionate amounts for photographs and pictures either.

In terms of exhibitors, the NECC is absolutely jam-packed this year. Disney Animators, Batman (a quest singing “Batman” intro), “The Muppets” and “Supergirl” attendees will literally lose their minds. R.F. Keenan, the world renown author of “Huntress in the Sky”, a thrilling gripping story centered on the protagonist, Dannon, catching a first glimpse of a dragon and their desire to see it over and over again, will have a stand at the comic con. Alongside Keenan will be Homeless Comics. Homeless Comics are an organization that helps comics get a new and loving home. They will have a stand with some limited-edition comics that have been abandoned due to lack to comic knowledge. The unsurpassable range of exhibitors is mind blowing, you would probably need to attend all 3 days to ensure to get a good look at everything. With the affordable ticket prices, it is worth to spend as much time there as possible. The cherry on top of the NECC is the free parking, and all children under the age of 7 have a free entry, when accompanied by an adult. The excitement is definitely mounting. All that’s left is for the weekend of the 6th of July to arrive.
